Jamila Jones is a highly experienced realtor who has been serving clients since earning her Real Estate License in 1991. Over the years, she has worked alongside and learned from some of the industry’s leading experts, including Gregory Bennett and Johnny Loewy, further deepening her knowledge of the real estate market and honing her skills across all facets of the industry. She is licensed to practice in both Washington, D.C., and the State of Maryland.

Jamila is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, and the Maryland Association of Realtors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Business Administration from Columbia Union College.

A native Washingtonian raised in the Petworth neighborhood, Jamila specializes in helping buyers and sellers in Petworth, Brightwood, Takoma, Riggs Park, Columbia Heights, and surrounding communities. Her deep roots in the area, combined with her extensive local knowledge, make her a valuable asset to clients navigating the real estate market.

Her diverse professional background includes roles at the U.S. Department of State, Fannie Mae, D.C. Public Schools, and the U.S. House of Representatives. These experiences have equipped her with outstanding customer service skills and a deep commitment to helping others achieve the dream of homeownership.

Jamila is also dedicated to giving back to her community. She actively volunteers with individuals of all ages and has been involved with several impactful organizations, including the AARP Foundation’s Work Search Program, Food & Friends, Disaster Recovery Relief efforts, Christmas in April, the Girl Scouts of America, and the Komen Acadiana Race for the Cure. She is also a proud finisher of the U.S. Marine Corps/AIDS Marathon.
